- Working closely with international clients providing in-country support, project organization, class scheduling, housing, travel, and responding to any other needs that clients have.
- Ensuring that international clients are productive, happy, and safe while in-country. The Field Manager is also closely involved with partner management, including regular communication with international and local partners.
- Managing a number of projects and a number of participants ; the primary goal is to provide structure and organization that results in impact on each project. Resources include limited funding, volunteers, and the creativity and organizational skills the Field Manager brings to the project.
- Managing projects and providing organization, client service, encouragement, translation, and any other support required to make sure students are productive at the project site.
- Developing strong, interactive relationships with the Director(s) of each project.
- Working toward creating mutually beneficial relationships—ensuring that our client is a good partner and that their service learning participants and the project benefit from the relationship. Benefits include improved realization of the project's mission, improved organization, improved cleanliness, improved attendance, construction, food, supplies, improved support for the project Director and staff, etc.
- Meeting with and assessing project sites for suitability to host international students and volunteers and to work with our client.
- Identifying and assessing new family-stay homes for their suitability to provide housing and food to our client's international students.
- Site visits and problem-solving.
- Housing support and problem-solving.
- Airport pick-up.
- Coordinating donations and aid.
- Sales and client service.
- Sending emails, answering phones, and updating the CRM system.
- Scheduling: Projects, Spanish classes, Family-stays.
- Travel details (Flights, hotel, arrival, departure, etc.)
- Generating monthly program registration, Weekly Arrivals, Families & Beds, weekly Spanish class schedule, and participant feedback summary reports.
- Collecting payments and basic invoicing and proactively liaising and working with the Academic and Accounting departments.
- You have a Bachelor's Degree.
- You are Bilingual in English/Spanish, to liaise effectively with different stakeholders across the region.
- You have 2-3 years of professional experience (coordination, logistics, client service).
- You are business minded and very strong at managing details.
- You must be very client-service-oriented.
- You have a passion for traveling and helping others.
- You have excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder.
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
