You are an Employee Experience champion and as part of the HR team, you'll provide hands-on support Nitel's all-star cast of employees.

Like a versatile athlete, you'll seamlessly navigate through recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and training, ensuring a winning experience for every Nitel team member.


your playbook

  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRMS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports from the HRMS to provide crucial data to people managers and the payroll contractor, ensuring accurate processing of employee's time off and related benefits.
  • Assist employees with HRMS inquiries and provide training on HRMS functionalities.
  • Assist with new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Efficiently manage the offboarding process for employees separating from the organization while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR to administer employee benefits programs and other employee perks.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure accurate enrollment and termination of benefits.
  • Help drive corporate culture that aligns with Nitel's values and prioritizes employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR activities.
  • Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
  • Assist with assigned HR projects.

skills you bring to the field

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' progressive HR experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and ability to answer employee inquiries
  • Strong people skills and an incredibly high standard for safeguarding confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle employee concerns or conflicts with empathy and diplomacy
