AS A PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

Manage plastic and metal welding projects for customers across a variety of industries
Maintain and manage customer relationship and expectations
Provide technical direction to internal and external designers, technicians, field service and other personnel during quotation, design, manufacture, testing and post shipment activities
Communicates and coordinates 3rd party interface with vendors or construction contractors on commercial as well as technical related project requirements
Develop and present customer proposals
Responsible for developing and maintaining project timelines
Assist in training of customers through inhouse seminars, field seminars and lab training
Host customer visits to review designs, hold equipment weld trials and production simulation runs, as assigned
Some overnight travel required to support customers, as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in STEM field, or related studies and experience
Minimum of 3 years of validated experience
Experience in customer project management and industrial manufacturing sales processes, including technical consultation and multifunctional teamwork
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Must have highly developed people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Topnotch computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel
Must have advanced oral and written English skills, B2 minimum
Basic understanding of hydraulic circuits, industrial pneumatic and controls

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Knowledge of manufacturing environment and customer engagement
Background in plastics, automotive, electronics, or medical device industry a plus
Experience with Project, Access
Experience with CRM (Oracle, SalesForce, etc.) a plus
PMI certification a plus
