    Job Description

    The Azure Solutions Engineering team within MTC at Intel has an opportunity available for a Senior Engineer to join our team and make significant impact on the bleeding edge Intel Hardware to be used by Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with Intel technology leaders and external partners to help optimize and develop innovative solutions to solve challenges in a rapidly moving business and technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mature and high performing team that has nearly two decades of experience delivering exceptional results.Responsibilities will Include:- Engage with key external partner teams and Intel teams to understand the use case, new technologies and opportunities for Intel.- Use performance methodologies to improve Intel's hardware and optimize data platforms software to ensure best performance on IA.- Enable new Intel technologies like storage, memory, security for data platforms and enable new use cases.- Resolve complex issues through innovative solutions and be a part in shaping future IA technologies by influencing key technical and business stakeholders.- Provide strategic leadership in new areas of investment for the team and build a multi-year roadmap.- Be a change agent and improve technical processes within the team for more efficient execution.- Be a team player, contribute to overall growth of team through knowledge sharing and finding opportunities for efficiencies in the team.     Qualifications

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. The following preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience in following:

  • Software development and/or Software architecture definition
  • Deep knowledge and experience in computer architecture and/or Intel Architecture
  • Proven track record of architecting / developing first-time-right platforms to meet aggressive timeline and development targets.

    • Deep Technical subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas is critical:

  • Data Center and Cloud Management systems
  • Expert in C/C++ programming and code optimization
  • Familiarity with Intel assembly language and intrinsic programming

    • Candidate must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica

    Intermediate to Advanced English level

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud storage and databases.
  • Proficient with Microsoft development tools and environments.
  • Multithreaded programming patterns and libraries knowledge.
  • Solid expertise in Server Operating Systems and Concepts.
  • Good verbal, written and presentation skills to influence management and technical stakeholders across Intel and Intel partners.
