- Develops, implements, and maintains intricate enhancements to existing business applications and spearheads new development projects by designing, coding, testing, installing, and providing ongoing support.
- Performs SAP ABAP programming using tools including Object Oriented programming with ABAP Objects, Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEWB), ABAP Workbench, Webservices, SAP Business Workflow, OSS Notes, BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE, EDI IDOCs, Query Painter, Menu Painter, Screen Painter SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Interactive Adobe Forms, Object Model ALV, SAP CCMS Printing, Transport Management and Debugging.
- Facilitate the adaption and the best utilization of existing SAP technical functionality or determine the feasibility of developing a custom technical solution to address/support business requirements and business process improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for functional testing of new and updated applications and systems to verify the desired results are achieved. Evaluate results and coordinate or make modifications to improve system performance. Creates test plans as required. Participates in application updates and upgrade projects.
- Participate in structured walkthroughs.
- Provide weekly status updates on development projects and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve low to highly complex production support issues for critical and non-critical business applications.
- Hands-on experience of 7 plus years in SAP technical design, development, testing, and support with extensive experience developing within more than one SAP module.
- Work experience in SAP PI/PO in the NetWeaver 7.0 Environment
- Work experience in SAP RFCs, Function Modules, Customer Exits, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, Dialog Programs, BDCs, and BAPIs.

- Adept at implementing complex technology-enabled business solutions.

- Ability to provide techno-functional support on SAP PI/PO functionality and help with the overall SAP development to manage the solution delivery effort.
- Organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple diverse assignments while managing competing demands with professionalism and a win-win attitude.
- Ability to monitor ABAP programs using tools such as Runtime Analysis, Code Inspector, SQL Trace, and System Log
- Conduct root cause analysis on business application defects to implement solutions that prevent problem reoccurrence. Document the corrective action taken on support issues to increase the support knowledge base.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and strong knowledge of data modeling, development tools, and performance tuning.
- Knows commonly used technical concepts, practices, and procedures within SAP.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP PI/PO functionality and architecture.
- Ability to create technical specifications to meet objectives of functional specifications and requirements studies.
- Ability to plan and organize work to achieve job objectives and set priorities among activities.
- Ability to assume responsibility for completing one's work and meet deadlines.

- Provides technical support to business users by translating business requirements into technical solutions and complex technical concepts into business language.
- Develop technical solutions to meet business needs following established standards.
- Evaluate current system capabilities to identify changes that need to be made and determine the impact on the business. Ensures that programming and software requirements fulfill business objectives.
- Negotiates technical solutions before changes are implemented.
- Ensures all technical solutions are well documented and update documents as changes are made.
- Tests technical changes and collaborate with business system analyst on functional, integration, regression, and business user acceptance testing and sign-off.
- Develop overall technical system design and prototypes of major system components.
