Senior Accounting Analyst:

Join our team and be responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions.


About the Role
In this opportunity as a
Senior Accounting Analyst you will:

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Approve balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Approve journal entries.
  • Open items reporting, followup and escalation with various departments.
  • Perform monthend close responsibilities with a complete understanding of the close process and the financial framework within an SAP environment to achieve complete, accurate and compliant financial statements.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partnering organizations by providing regular and frequent communications.
  • Assist in monthly financial reporting; prepare analysis of accounts as requested.
  • Assist in projects on process improvements.
  • Provide training to other team members.

About You
You're a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, OR equivalent qualification OR significant development after specialized vocational training OR substantial professional development after High School Degree.
  • At least 5 years of professional accounting experience with multinational companies.
  • Knowledge of common accounting procedures.
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a competence in presenting in a professional and influential manner.
  • Attention to fine detail and demonstrate highlevel of accuracy.
  • Enterprise resource planning ERP software — for example, SAP, Oracle, BEx, BlackLine.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Portuguese preferred but not required.
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective in a team environment; proven ability to effectively transfer knowledge to build team competence.
