- Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
- Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
- Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
- Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
- May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, development of technological solutions or a technological environment, within the financial services industry preferred
- Process automation leveraging emerging technologies experience – Required
- Excellent relational and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree
- English +90%.
- Python – Advanced level (Required)
- Tableau - Intermediate level (Preferred)
- Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) – Advanced level (Plus).
- SQL and Database knowledge – Advanced level (Plus)
- MS Office – Advanced level (Plus).
- Develop Python scripts and other emerging technologies such as Tableau and robotics to automate processes while ensuring all the technology mandates are met properly
- Support adopting new technologies, sourcing trainings to be shared with end users, provide the required training session and give hand to hand support while executing automation projects
- Develop full-scale Python and other emerging technologies project plans and associated communications documents.
