Job description

Review and approve invoices identified as 'high risk payments' (HRP) processed by the HRP Analysts. The Sr.

Analyst must
validate that invoices processed are following the HRP matrix guidelines so invoices are in compliance:
proper approvals and correct supporting documentation is received. Sr.

Analyst
returns invoices or
asks for more information to the Processing Analyst if any invoices are missing anything from of the established HRP guidelines.

Act as a point of contact for all questions regarding HRP matters.

What you will do:

Review high risk payment invoices and payment requests to guarantee proper adherence to HRP matrix with supporting documentation that is complete, accurate and compliant to all corporate guidelines.
Perform root cause analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies and identify potential process improvements on HRP processes with the business.
Provide guidance for corrective actions for all payment requests not in compliance with applicable requirements, contract agreements or HRP matrix.
Generate reporting and metrics to provide visibility on trends and volume.
Work closely with business, compliance and Master Data teams to resolve issues & escalations
Liaise with buyers to resolve PO HRP discrepancies related to Purchase Order invoices
Followup with the relevant stakeholders in case of discrepancies
Provide information to Internal or Corporate Audit when needed.
Respond to AP HRP inquiries ad hoc.
Coach and guide new team members on the HRP process and mentor the HRP Analysts on how to perform the daily tasks
Actively participate in daily huddles and weekly team meetings
Point of first escalation for the team when they face process or technical issues

What you need:

Associate/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Compliance or related field
Fluent spoken and written English
Familiar with USGAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Act

Qualifications & experience:

Demonstrated ability to work in Excel
Demonstrated experience in a Finance or audit role
Demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated writing skills and ability to effectively convey ideas in both written and oral presentation formats
Demonstrated ability to work across all levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to work independently as a "selfstarter"
Accustomed to working under pressure and with deadlines
