- Develop sourcing strategies: Identify the company's service procurement needs and develop effective sourcing strategies for selecting strategic suppliers, particularly in Costa Rica, and could provide support to other LATAM countries on special projects.
- Supplier evaluation and selection: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Select suppliers that best fit the company's needs in terms of quality, cost, and supply capacity.
- Negotiate contracts and supply agreements: Collaborate with selected suppliers to negotiate optimal contracts and supply agreements that ensure the best value for money and meet the company's business and legal requirements.
- Supplier management and monitoring: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, effectively managing any issues or conflicts that may arise. Regularly monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Market analysis and trends: Conduct research and market analysis, staying informed about the latest trends and practices in services sourcing. Utilize this knowledge to continuously improve sourcing strategies and maximize benefits for the company.
- Internal collaboration: Work closely with other internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Operations, and Human Resources to ensure sourcing strategies are aligned with the overall goals and needs of the company.
- Compliance and risk management: Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal and external regulations and policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience of at least 5 years in procurement or sourcing, with a specific focus on services sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of the market and trends in services sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable agreements for the company.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data and metrics in decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with suppliers and various internal teams.
