Jean Jimenez

I am Jean Jiménez, a Technical Artist and CG Rigger who loves geek stuff. I graduated from Universidad Veritas with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Animation, where I discovered the technical side of animation and developed a true passion for rigging.

Since August 2023, I have been working as a CG Rigger at Relish Studios, contributing to a project in progress. I have also worked as a CG Rigger at Stellar Creative Lab, and as a Character Skinning, Character CG Rigger, and 3D Prop Rigger for various projects. I have self-taught my skills through continuous learning and development, including scripting with Python and Qt to improve my rigging processes. I bring a unique combination of technical expertise and creative flair to each project, always aiming to innovate and improve. I am excited to continue growing and learning in the industry. I'm Jean Jimenez, a Rigging Technical Artist with a passion for bringing digital creations to life. I've had the pleasure of contributing to projects like Alicia Keys Underdog, Barbie Youtube Series, Polly Pocket Youtube Series, and Sausage Party: Foodtopia.

What sets me apart is my knack for creative solutions. I've integrated motion capture with Unreal Engine, designed complex, functional props, and even created a custom autorig system to streamline the process.

In terms of tech skills, I'm proficient in Maya, Python, Unreal 5, Mel, and speak English, Spanish, and a bit of Japanese. Outside of work, you can find me doing Crossfit, gaming, or playing my trusty violin.

I hold a 3.3 GPA from Universidad Veritas and crafted a standout custom autorig system for my graduation short film, "Holy Crab."
