Evaluation of non-conforming material according to specifications of the quality procedures, to escalate such events to the suppliers involved.
• Review and approval of supplier qualification documents such as protocols, reports, SCIA (Supplier Change Implementation), material technical documents, process changes, design changes in material processes, among others.
• Virtual audits to suppliers to evaluate compliance with the quality management system through documentation and evidence provided by the supplier.
• Elaboration of NCEPs, SCARs, F2QNs, SAP IPs, CNs (Non-conforming event reports, supplier event reports, Incoming quality event reports, material inspection procedures, Windchill system procedure changes).
• Constant communication with suppliers and internal team members to manage material process improvement tasks for the reduction of non-conforming material, as well as attendance to weekly meetings to follow up actions related to material processes and process remediation projects.
• Visit to suppliers to evaluate non-conformities related to materials and improvement proposals to mitigate recurrence risks.
• Support on material complaints with root cause investigation, escalation with managers and supervisors, as well as preparation of presentations for critical decision making based on investigation results.
• Application of problem-solving methodologies to resolve nonconformity problems that impacted the production lines.
• Worked with supplier engineering in VIPs (Value Improvements Projects) to reduce and increase savings in the raw materials.
• Owner of the PCR(Plastic, Chemicals and Resins) Category and supported extrusion, molding and metals commodities in order to review changes in the suppliers and support of quality issues.
• Supported supplier monitoring process (Scorecards) of 2 production units.
