Responsabilidades

Product Owner

Position Summary

The Product Owner leads the delivery effort of the Central Data Platform, a cloud native solution to acquire and manage enterprise data, through several key activities. The PO conveys the platform vision to the delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value, liaises with stakeholders to ensure their interests inform the product roadmap and serves as the primary contact for information and decision making. As a key member of the broader Data & Analytics organization this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Implement policy and strategy for short-term results and influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

• Decision making is guided by a customer-centric mindset and the strategic objectives of area of specialization.

• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into a solution backlog consisting of epics and features, balancing the needs of multiple internal and external customers to create a solution roadmap.

• Communicate the solution vision and solution roadmap with Product Managers and architects to support the creation of a product roadmap that breaks down epics and features into user stories and enabler stories, providing inputs and clarifications to acceptance criteria.

• Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development, monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.

• Liaise with the product team and end-users to identify and track KPIs and metrics, delivering updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including presenting the vision and reviewing the plan during the PI planning events.

• Drive continuous improvements and identify risks, addressing them in timely manner.

• Work with teams to remove any roadblocks and address any dependencies.

Requisitos

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree OR equivalent experience (must)

• 8 years of experience with IT Shared Services and/or Data Operations with 3 years of cloud development / operations (desired)

• Experience working in an agile development process (bias towards the SAFe framework) and operating in a DevSecOps mindset (must)

• Experience managing multiple project deliverables comprising short and long development cycles without supervision (must)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex concepts and technologies to diverse audiences(must)

• Experience collaborating with technical product teams including offshore resources and working in matrixed environments(must)

• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and observability (must)

• Experience working in CI/CD environments and the tooling associated with such environments (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc...) (desired)

• Working knowledge of security standards and best practices (Desired)

• Passionate about technology and committed to continual improvement (desired).

• 1 year in current position (for internal candidates)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient developing and operating solutions on AWS native cloud data technologies such as Redshift, Aurora, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc. Experience with similar platform technologies from other leading cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud also welcome

• Familiarity with Service Oriented and Event Driven Architectures (SOA, EDA)

• Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver large technical initiatives across multiple dimensions (e.g., technical decisions, fiscal accountability, change management, etc...)
