    Wondery is hiring a full-time Account Manager to join the Ad Sales team. As an Account Manager you will play a key role in the success of Amazon Advertising and Wondery Ad Sales teams by creating sales plans, accurately processing orders, and optimizing ongoing campaigns in a fast paced sales environment. You will use your excellent communication skills and solution-oriented critical thinking to interact with advertising sales clients and podcast hosts to find beneficial alignments for Wondery's customers. Your attention to detail will ensure that information shared internally and externally is accurate and polished. Supporting Amazon's fast moving podcast advertising sales initiatives, you will take part in setting new standards and processes for the future of podcasting.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Work closely with Account Executives to assist in all aspects of the pre-sale cycle
    • Build client presentations, media schedules, RFPs, and post-campaign recaps
    • Uphold company best practices and policies and ensure orders adhere to them
    • Partner with Ad Operations teams to ensure successful campaign execution
    • Monitor campaign performance and work with client and internal teams to optimize
    • Manage pre-sale communication with podcast hosts
    • Take ownership of sales operations projects
    • Build strong communication channels with stakeholders, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan
    • Validate and input accurate order information into our Order Management System (OMS)
    • Analyze OMS data to ensure data hygiene and correct any noted issues
    • Update and maintain internal and client facing sales assets in Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets and Powerpoint
    • Compile delivery reports and work with Sales and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies
    • Fulfill OMS report requests

    A day in the life

    This role requires an individual with an outstanding business acumen, excellent lead and pipeline management skills and the ability to deliver results. The ideal candidate knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work backwards from the customer to create value. This role supports the sales team with planning, research, presentations and recaps, account management and document maintenance. We are looking for a highly organized, capable self-starter who is passionate about the medium, learns quickly, thinks critically and wants to work with a quickly-growing global brand.

    Wondery, an Amazon company, is a premium podcast studio known for character-driven, binge-worthy stories including Dr. Death and Business Wars, and distribution of hit partner shows Morbid and How I Built This. Wondery was behind eight of the "Top 25 New Shows of 2021", according to Podtrac. Over 50 shows from Wondery have hit #1 on Apple Podcasts including Scamfluencers and Twin Flames. Many Wondery podcasts have been adapted for scripted television or streaming series including Peacock and Apple TV+. Wondery has gained critical acclaim and commercial success for its immersive approach to sonic, emotionally driven storytelling.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Experience with Excel
    • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
    • Precise attention to detail with excellent accountability and follow-through
    • English level C1 or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2+ years of sales or account management experience
    • 2+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience
    • Experience in relationship management in client-facing roles
    • Fluent written and verbal communication
    • Dexterity with Google Sheets and PowerPoint
    • Able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
    • Resourceful and solution oriented
    • Experience using OMS/CRM software
    • Passion for podcasts
    • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
