- Conduct Customer On-boarding call and validate new customer information (selling method, equipment install, BCT, contacts, phone, fax, email, frequency/call/delivery day and date, etc).
- Follow selling priorities on every call (Refused PD, Will call Request, 10-2 BCT, Initial Orders, Offer additional product on Initial order, Sell VRU reminder).
- Clarify, address and/or escalate questions or concerns related to customer setup or opening.
- Assign customer to proper PDSR.
- Inform Customer of Pepsi Rewards Plus program where applicable.
- Sell/Introduce new products to customer to drive current and future revenue.
- Handle AR issues including determining if credit application completed and when, where submitted, and escalation for resolution. Enter request for override code if directed by field.
- Handle National Account Onboarding requiring special handling or coordination of install and order dates (KFC, etc.).
- Analyze, discuss and escalate challenging equipment setup/install issues.
- Execute equipment validation call to ensure customer has received equipment, it is working properly and the business is open and ready to move to Sales floor.
- Create critical first impression of PepsiCo Direct.
- Capture and validate all account information for new customers (i.e. FS Distributors, BCT, Email, FAX, etc.).
- Handle extensive inquiry entry for new customer setup; especially for equipment, charge terms, POP, pricing.
- Execute first fill order, timing product delivery with equipment delivery as needed.
- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- 1-2 years of prior customer service experience
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
