    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Support payroll process in a multi-state environment. Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.

    General Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
  • Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays
  • Keep up to date with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
  • Maintain and document all payroll records
  • Perform time entries and basic master data entries.
  • Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Research about solutions, generate and communicate process improvement ideas
  • Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality
  • Participate in status meetings
  • Attend internal trainings
  • Perform other functions related to the position

    • Qualifications

  • English level B2+
  • Graduated from a Technical High School in accounting or executive in service center, or university student in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls. Desirable.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
