Experiencia

I started my first freelance job as a translator for poker website articles. At that moment, I realized I could go back to college and keep on working on this. 

I had volunteered with Habitat for Humanity CR, so I offered them my services and they hired me immediately.

This job opened many doors for me. At the same time I started working for another ONG Ser y Crecer while doing other random translations on the side too.

Currently, I am working for a customs agency in CR, for 7 ½ years today. I assist translating documents, contracts, publicity and have been a live interpreter when clients visit from abroad.

 I also work for another company as a healthcare advisor, both English and Spanish. I started working for them 3 years ago.

Educación

I had a fully bilingual education since I was little. When I was 15 years old, I lived in NY for 8 months. 

As soon as I graduated from High school -International & National Baccalaureate-, I started working (2001) for a call center that provided assistance to North American customers.
