How will you make an impact?


Be part of an exciting opportunity to scale Thermo Fisher's Supplier Responsibility programs - cascading our Environmental, Social, and Governance objectives throughout our supply chain.

Work across a global network of divisions, groups, functions and categories to ensure successful program delivery.

In conjunction with the Global Sustainability and Global Procurement organizations, implement business processes that help achieve our Net-Zero climate objectives, respect human rights, and promote a diverse supply chain.


What will you do?

Scale of Responsibilities

  • Utilizes Thermo Fisher data systems to develop standard reporting requirements and drive process improvements
  • Performs analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunity in the Supplier Responsibility programs and outlines resources required to achieve and ensure projects contribute to the organization
  • Completes data gathering regarding supplier Net Zero performance to report on external goals
  • Create "dashboards" or decisionmaking tools of performance metrics on the basis of inputs provided by the project team to assist management in tracking and monitoring performance and help in strategic decisionmaking
  • Work with procurement and sustainability teams for implementation of enterprisewide systems and processes so that relevant data points are captured for performance tracking and analysis
  • Impart training for effective usage and improve efficiency through such tools
  • Identify existing business process for efficiency enhancement using BI solutions.
  • Support the sustainability team with presenting findings from analysis to category and division teams to drive impact and improve supplier performance

Technical Responsibilities

  • Uses PPI business systems and processes to drive continuous improvement

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science.
  • 35 years working experience
  • Mastery in Excel, and experienced in all aspects of Power BI, including establishing gateways
  • Hands on data manipulation experience using SSMS, AWS Athena, and/or Altyrex
  • Previous experience in managing supplier audits/assessment/corrective actions preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for structuring ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (specifically, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to make recommendations on and deliver assigned projects
  • Ability to work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to lead matrix project teams of peers and other partners across multiple sites and platforms in a virtual office environment
  • Multitasking skills and planning for prioritizing personal workload
  • Able to manage change effectively and frequently
  • English language proficiency required
