We are looking for an inspired and detailed-oriented Quality Assurance. An Intermediate QA reports to a QA Lead.

Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, Project managers, designers, and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered.

They provide the execution of QA tasks with speed and great quality for the overall agility of the QA team.


In this role, you will:


  • Is coresponsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications.
  • Might need to attend daily standups or scrums on behalf of the team.
  • Should be able to communicate test results, issues, and risks found to project team members, project managers, and QA management through different channels.
  • Should be able to assist in the creation and/or cocreation along with other staff members of any of the following: o Assist with test data identification
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans
  • Writing and maintaining test cases/scripts
  • Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements
  • Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements
  • Performing functional and exploratory testing
  • Effectively communicating statuses
  • Can assist with the following:
  • Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution
  • Report creation and related metrics at different levels when necessary
  • Work and explain assignments when necessary to any coworker and/or junior staff members
  • Should be able to execute regression tests based on design specifications and requirements
  • Expected to have an understanding of QA estimations and proactively help if needed on said estimations for the team
  • Expected to have at least basic knowledge and understanding of the project life cycle and industry standards
  • Expected to have an understanding of testing methodologies and strategies to be a gatekeeper so they can determine when to raise flags
  • Should be able to work with other team members to ensure the success of projects
  • Should be able to understand functional & nonfunctional, new or ongoing project requirements

What are we looking for? Besides a great attitude,

You should have the following:


  • English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation
  • 14 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 13 years of experience in Agile methodologies for software development.
  • 1 year of experience with local and offshore teams.
  • Experience in testing web products (functional and nonfunctional manual testing)
  • Jira
  • Knowledge of CMS Testing
  • Knowledge of Accessibility testing

It's a plus if you have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, project management, business, or related field.
  • ISTQB Certification. Other QArelated certifications
