Role Overview/Summary:


This position is responsible for the UDesign Coordination trainings, continuous education, new software, and any other training needed, as well as the continuous improvement of this department.

The coordinator must be able to work under mínimal supervision in a performance oriented, fast-paced environment.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**- Leading by example and motivation your staff.

  • Maintenance of individual and group discipline.
  • First line of contact/resolution of trainer complaints and issues and escalate as needed.
  • Prepare and plan UDesign Trainings to different production groups as directed.
  • Coordinate with the production department the training of designers according to the process they perform so that they are certified in all products offered by the company.
  • Ensure necessary training is provided when new procedures and processes are approved.
  • Ensure new processes and procedures are fully complied with when developed.
  • Suggest and implement process and training improvements.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Determine training needs of your trainers and coordinating for them to be fulfilled.
  • Verify that training plans and records are updated.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement of your team, formulate and perform an implementation plan for these improvements.
  • Develop crosstraining of your staff for the improvement of your teams' flexibility as needed.
  • Improve the delivery times of new technicians

Job Requirements:


REQUIREMENTS:


  • High School diploma or equivalent formal education
  • 5+ years' experience in a production environment, leading and motivating teams of skilled and semiskilled associates. Direct departmental supervisory experience at a functional level is required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with all levels of the organization, with particular emphasis on production level operational personnel.
  • Knowledge of computer packages (Windows, Excel, Word).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Ensure effective compliance of goals and the timelines assigned to the group.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe practices to the Production Manager and/or Human Resources Department.
  • Participate proactively in team efforts to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with the different projects performed on the company and its teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
