We're searching for a System Administrator II.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with senior team members in operations on key initiatives or projects in the implementation phase.
  • Support the development of infrastructure as code using best practices and implementations for on premises and cloud environments.
  • Support technology automation Compute, Storage and Operating system in the public cloud as well as onpremises
  • Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, scalability and resilience.
  • Plans and implements systems automations as required for better efficiency.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
  • Design and develop the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps.
  • Take care of servers and systems alerts and work with the team to define actions to solve.
  • Servers and company systems administration: Patching, troubleshoot L1 performance issues, coordinate changes with senior team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in scrum meetings, take full ownership of the assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 12 years of experience in coding and scripting using: Powershell, Bash and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop, servers and networking technology.
  • Basic Linux administration skills, preferably with Ubuntu Server, CentOS & RHEL.
  • Strong background in Windows administration.
  • Basic knowledge in Azure.
  • Ability to use wide variety of open source technologies.
  • Handson, selfstarter
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fluent in English language
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferable

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, technical diplomas in programming and systems administration or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 12 year of experience in support roles.
  • Desirable Industry Certifications: RHCSA, LPI, Linux +, Azure, AWS, VMware etc
  • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration (eg: git, Jenkins)
  • Experience with provisioning infrastructure through IAC (preferably Terraform) and cloud automation/security principles.
