Perform data lifecycle analysis including data profiling, requirements gathering and documenting, data mappings, process and data design flows, data quality controls input, and testing assistance.

Establish and maintain a validated understanding of Moody's business processes and data needs of the assigned business project and/or Moody's Investors Service Strategic objective.
Perform data analysis: identify trends, gaps, issues. Work with the business and/or the technology teams to resolve any potential issues.
Support the team in the collection of data metrics (quality, operational, governance) and enablement of data controls and best practices.
Define, document, and handle business and data requirements documentation.
Develop and update supporting content and training materials (e.g., FAQs, presentations, training, SOP, etc.).
Collaborate with key collaborator crossvertically and globally to support MIS' strategy and activities.
Identify inefficiencies in business processes and recommend improvements. Track improvements and supervise efficiency.
Participate in Agile scrum teams and contributing to project planning and work prioritization.
Undergraduate BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field is required.
23 years of Business/System/Data Analyst experience (requirements, data mappings, process flows, conceptual data modeling, etc.)
Experience with SQL or Tableau, with Data Profiling, ETL and Data Reporting tools a plus.
Highly organized and efficient, with a good attention to detail and superb communication skills (both verbal and written). Including the ability to translate technical concepts to business concepts and vice versa.
Experience working in Agile environments, experience with Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma is a nice to have.
Good interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to reach across the organization to acquire information.
A phenomenal team member with an ability to adapt to change quickly and balance multiple priorities is crucial.
Proficient in MS Excel (VBA, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.), Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Our Global Ratings Operations & Controls (ROC) team is seeking an Associate Data Operations Analyst who is detail oriented, analytical, a team player, and excited to ensure that business needs are met with usable, quality data.

In this role, you will be responsible to perform data analysis and help to define and detail business and data requirements.

Skills needed for the job include performing data analysis, eliciting business requirements, and detailing data mappings, processes, and data flows.

The role will also regularly work with IT developers, business analysts, data modelers, and Enterprise Data Management resources to ensure that both the business needs, and Moody's Investors Service Tech strategic objectives are met.
