About the Role

Workday is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Global Revenue Finance (aka Financial Planning & Analysis) team in a role passionate about financial performance analysis and reporting. We're looking for an organized, detail oriented, self-starter with a desire to learn.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare key financial reports used to lead and support Global Revenue Operations.

Build effective partnerships across the Workday Finance organization.

Provide qualitative financial analysis around key performance indicators and develop insights on business performance based on the interpretation of financial results.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and KPI metrics package. Communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other critical team members. Analyze business results providing advice on the financial impact of operating decisions.

Support the annual strategic planning process, including the evaluation of key metrics and models.

Own regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide significant metrics and insights.

Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and monitoring the business.

Responsabilidades del puesto:

Preparar informes financieros clave utilizados para dirigir y apoyar las Operaciones de Ingresos Globales.

Establecer alianzas eficaces en toda la organización de finanzas de Workday.

Proporcionar análisis financieros cualitativos en torno a indicadores clave de rendimiento y desarrollar información detallada sobre los resultados del negocio en función de la interpretación de los datos financieros.

Elaborar un paquete de métricas financieras y de indicadores clave de desempeño (KPI) mensuales y trimestrales. Comunicar las variaciones del plan o el presupuesto a los partners de negocio y otros miembros críticos del equipo. Analizar los resultados del negocio a la vez que se asesora sobre el impacto financiero de las decisiones operativas.

Apoyar el proceso anual de planificación estratégica, incluyendo la evaluación de métricas y modelos clave.

Realización de informes y análisis periódicos y ad hoc para proporcionar métricas y perspectivas significativas.

Participar en los esfuerzos interfuncionales para mejorar continuamente la calidad de los datos y medir y supervisar el negocio con rigor.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, consulting, or related business function.

Bachelor's degree in a business function such as accounting or finance.

It is essential to be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Other Qualifications

Excellent organization, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Finance system proficiency.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver and think ahead.

Willingness to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong business sense with ability to apply financial data to help develop insights to business performance.

Maturity to drive things forward and be a proactive contributor.

Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.

Finance or Accounting experience in the software or SAAS industry.

High proficiency with MS Excel (Google Sheets) and PowerPoint (Google Slides).

Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning tool preferred.

Cualificaciones básicas:

3 años o más de experiencia en finanzas, contabilidad, consultoría o funciones comerciales relacionadas.

Título universitario en alguna función empresarial como contabilidad o finanzas.

Bilingüe en español e inglés (excluyente).

Otras cualificaciones:

Excelentes dotes de organización, gestión del tiempo y comunicación (escrita y verbal).

Dominio del sistema financiero.

Capacidad de trabajar en un entorno de ritmo rápido con actitud de cumplir y pensar en el futuro.

Disposición para trabajar de forma independiente prestando atención a los detalles y a la precisión.

Gran sentido empresarial con capacidad para aplicar datos financieros que ayuden a desarrollar perspectivas de rendimiento empresarial.

Madurez para impulsar las cosas y ser un colaborador proactivo.

Capacidad de adaptación a los rápidos cambios del negocio y las organizaciones, que acompañan a un entorno de gran crecimiento.

Experiencia en finanzas o contabilidad en el sector del software o SAAS.

Alto dominio de MS Excel (Google Sheets) y PowerPoint (Google Slides).

Preferiblemente, experiencia con Workday Adaptive Insights o una herramienta de planificación financiera similar.
