We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Thomson Reuters Transfer Pricing accounting team located in Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica.

About the Role
In this opportunity, as a
Transfer Pricing Sr


Accounting Analyst you will:


  • Perform accounting and analysis activities related to transfer pricing practices & policies supporting various legal entities in a global environment. Includes, but not limited to managing monthly transfer pricing calculations; providing support during statutory audit; providing adhoc analytics as requested by Tax or LE Controllership teams; developing a thorough understanding of OneSource Operational Transfer Pricing system that is used for transforming accounting information into transfer pricing fees.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with International Tax, Regional Tax and Global Statutory Controllership business partners at all management levels.
  • Assist in transfer pricing needs associated with acquisitions and divestitures. Includes partnering with International Tax on understanding transfer pricing policies needed, employee chargebacks and legal entity mergers, etc.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities & assist in improving activities and processes where needed using tools such as Alteryx, UI Path, Tableau, etc.

About You
You're a fit for this role of
Transfer Pricing Sr.

Accounting Analyst if your background includes:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 47 years' experience in an Accounting or Finance role, preferably with a global or multinational company
  • Integrated financial systems experience preferred (SAP, BEX, SASFM, One Source Transfer Pricing)
  • Previous knowledge of transfer pricing preferred but not required.

Knowledge and Skills Inventory

  • Manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources to successfully meet project and schedule deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a strong attention to detail and the ability to present clear and succinct analyses to a diverse audience.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a competence in presenting in a professional and influential manner at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong collaborator in a team environment.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Highly responsive and committed to results with a strong customer orientation.
  • SAP, BEX, SASFM, Alteryx and One Source Transfer Pricing knowledge.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel preferred.
