What You Will Do


Build, manage and develop team of accounting professionals, including setting of annual objectives and completion of the team annual reviews.


  • Manage the annual cost roll for all divisions in scope of the Inventor COE (SAP and nonSAP) ensuring highest level of accuracy and completeness of all cost information in affected ERPs.
  • Partnering with IT to drive continuous improvement and automation of routine product costing procedures, particularly the daily reconciliations of cost information between SAP and the "Stryker Global Item Master" platform
  • Bring the current process to monitor and resolve aged GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) items to the next level in collaboration with all involved Finance and Supply Chain functions
  • Calculate, reconcile, and analyze intercompany Goods in Transit for period close.
  • Perform complex adhoc analyses to investigate and resolve material variances or reconciling items related to PPV, GRIR or GIT and respond to queries from business Finance teams and Finance leadership.
  • Prepare the more complex month end journal entries, review and approve those journals completed by the team members.
  • Ensure all inventory reports generated by SAP are accurate, complete, and reconcile to the General Ledger.
  • Support SAP system configuration, testing and wave deployments.
  • Prepare the more complex accounting reconciliations, review and approve reconciliations completed by the team members in accordance with Stryker policies.
  • Maintain process documentation (DTP's) and narratives ensuring they are kept up to date.
  • Support external and internal audits, ensuring all requests are completed in a timely manner, any findings are appropriately challenged, and management actions plans completed.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager in developing strong communication channels with the business units, scoping and implementation of any reporting requirements (SAP BW), and executing any inventory related projects. (including future transitions)
  • Ensure all internal controls and other compliance requirements are fulfilled.
  • Run or participate in special projects as requested.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business-

Related Field:
Required


Qualifications & experience:

  • 6+ years' experience in Audit, Accounting, or Finance (must have)
  • Inventory / Manufacturing experience required
  • Proficiency with Excel, data skills (must have)
  • Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana and SAP BW (must have)
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
  • Fluency in English (must have)

  • Strong ability to coordinate action across dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Effective analytical and problemsolving skills
