Some of the tasks to be carried out:

Design and execute overall database architecture strategy, standards, and practices as part of a team.
Develop innovation, strategies, processes, and best practices.
Work with Architecture, Application Development, and Operations to achieve a stateoftheart environment that meets current and future business objectives.
Identify and analyze opportunities for how databases can support or enhance the reliability of the company's businesses and communicate these opportunities and recommendations to management
Ensure the online processing database systems offer the highest reliability and performance possible
Lead projects and ongoing activities related to the operation and organization of the databases, assessment, and implementation of new technologies; represent the Database Administration team perspective and communicate project status and concerns to management
Support all areas of the enterprise, ensuring all databases run at optimal performance.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot databases performance issues.
Ensure that industrywide security standards are properly implemented.
Develop and optimize complex T-SQL and PL/SQL code.
Understand written business requirements and translate them into technical design
Design and develop SQL code, ETL processes and SSRS reports based on provided requirements.
Respond to business requests in a professional manner with a high sense of urgency.
Participate in oncall and occasional offhours activities (DR tests, catalogtoweb cut overs, DBMS upgrades, etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in Salesforce reporting and administration.
Previous experience doing DevOps tasks
Comfortable with automated configuration management.
Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix and/or windows server administration. Working knowledge of various office related software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Familiar with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
Understanding of Content Management Technology. Able to create content models.
Scripting skills (PowerShell, php, python, ruby, Perl, etc.)
Programming languages (Java, C++, etc)
SSIS experience
