Regional Supply Planner - Heredia

Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Temporary Regional Supply Planner supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Regional Supply Planning Manager. Ensure supply plans support global demand plans with the minimum inventory required for the market's portfolio. Communicate to operations the supply needs to execute demand plan. Anticipate and inform proactively demand planners when supply can't meet demand. Responsible for the inventory value at end of month and supports the inventory forecasting exercise for the next coming months.

Responsibilities

• Supply Planning: Own the global supply plan for the market's portfolio and make sure that we supply the customers' demands on time.
• Align manufacturing and warehousing by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity and alignment across supply-related functions.
• Ensure inventory is distributed efficiently along the global network, in agreement with the regional demand planner.
• Highlight whenever supply cannot meet demand to the demand planner and provide alternatives.
• Deal with different sources of supply (manufacturing sites, procurement) and ensure supply plan is accurate and regularly updated to show properly volumes to be supplied on a 24m horizon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent either in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in the field of supply and/or production planning, optimally in chemicals.
• Commercial exposure, proven track record in supply planning / production planning.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
