    The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in procurement activities such as defining the need for goods and services, negotiating price contracts and authorizing payment for goods and services in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in sourcing process for the various products and services within the sourcing team
    • Facilitate sourcing process and assist cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations including drafting and red-lining contracts
    • Monitor all aspects of sourcing and contract processes including strategy, negotiation and contract execution as well as assist in supplier negotiations, and financial analysis/modeling while ensuring licensing usage is aligned with license agreements
    • Respond to customer service inquiries, clarify requirements, and provide information as needed
    • Utilize Citi tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information as well as work with suppliers to measure and track performance and reporting/reconciliation requirements
    • Report and record procurement transactions including sourcing request forms, sourcing strategy, savings, contracts, and approved suppliers
    • Participate and assist in the development, management, and analysis of request for proposals and/or eAuctions
    • Meet reporting requirements and audit guidelines ensuring adherence to Citi processes and procedures as well as draft and check the accuracy of reports for the team in support of the senior managers
    • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
    • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
    • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of relevant experience
    • Experience with process improvement
    • Experience in vendor management, contracting, financial acumen, and commercial awareness
    • Experience in financial modeling and accounting
    • Experience with reporting tools preferred
    • Working knowledge of Procurement tools (e.g. Oracle or SAP eSourcing)
    • Demonstrated negotiation strategies
    • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

    As an integral part of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) framework, the Analytics team is responsible for reporting and analysis related to source to pay processes, risk and business management on a global basis. This role will focus on the manipulation, analysis and reporting of large data sets (greater than 1 million records) to support BOSS initiatives along with firm wide regulatory inquiries. In addition, the team manages internally the budget and workforce planning for SCO.

    • Supports Supply Chain Operations teams and their strategies through the provision of financial analysis and interpretation particularly as it relates to vendor spend across Citi's geographies, businesses, and functions.
    • Active partnership with local functional leadership to support tailored discussions helping them manage to require efficiency targets and programs.
    • Completes all tasks in connection with the organization's activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.
    • Partner with team to implement solutions and analysis tools in MS Excel and Tableau that will allow for data to be analyzed, summarized, and reported in tables, charts, and graphs.
    • Supports implementation of initiatives to improve existing processes and bring efficiencies to procedures and tools.
    • Makes judgments based on the analysis of factual information. Interprets data and results through the use of professional judgment.
    • Utilizes developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
    • Provides geographical/country insights utilizing global standard reporting and analysis, and partner to support development of local requirements that enhance analytics product suite and can be leveraged globally.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • English: Advanced
    • 3-5 years of relevant financial and analytics experience
    • Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills with working knowledge of SharePoint and Collaboration tools; Tableau and Power Query knowledge is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Big Data concepts and tools.
    • High degree of numeracy, an analytical approach to tasks and problem-solving skills are essential.
    • Ability to work accurately in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight timeframes.
    • Ability to understand complex data and condense into key themes, demonstrable example of accurate and detailed analysis/reporting within previous roles including preparation of recommendations for management.
    • Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop strong partnership with stakeholders.
    • Self-starter, able to manage several tasks simultaneously and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision as well as being adaptable to short deadlines and moving deliverables.
    • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills .
    • Procurement or Source to Pay process knowledge preferred, but not required.
