This position is responsible for driving account revenue, new sales and retention within Individual Investor portfolio.

Junior Account Managers will collaborate with internal and external partners, to actively pursue new business within their defined book, and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals and retention of current revenue with a strong overall expectation of net revenue growth.

The Junior Account Manager will coordinate all sales activities in their accounts to achieve targets and build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners while offering solutions that help clients achieve their business goals.

They are also tasked to help the current Account Managers (AMs) on administrative tasks on those AMs portfolio.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker's strategies, priorities, and needs
  • Maintain solid understanding of business propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest
  • Build and embed a longterm trusted advisor relationship within their accounts
  • Drive growth by expanding company footprint within their accounts
  • Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue
  • Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the endtoend customer relationship
  • Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts)
  • Govern internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals
  • Accountable and responsible for simple order taking
  • Assist AMs on administrative tasks. Monitoring and creation of CAAs and cases.
  • Participate on projects the Emerging team will have.

Emerging Model:

  • Junior Account Manager for Emerging accounts will manage a defined book on a proactive basis.
  • Junior Account Managers in Emerging are responsible for revenue retention (primarily), sales, and administration of their accounts and other AMs.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
  • Industry experience within the customer segment
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Relationship building skills
  • Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
  • Problem solving ability to understand, articulate, structure, and solve client needs
  • Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to collaborate with account team
  • University/college degree may be required, equivalent experience may be considered depending on position/department
  • Advanced degree may be preferred
  • Significant work experience in applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required
  • Shown competencies in account management, sales, or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required
  • Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization
