West Monroe is looking for a Manager to join our Talent & Leadership Development Team (TLD) to serve as the functional lead on the implementation, configuration, and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience Platform (LXP).


This is an exciting role that will present the challenge of maximizing the learning platform to support the continued development of our people and our learning culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • System Management and Maintenance:_
  • Mange the daily operation of the LMS/LXP, including system updates, backups, troubleshooting technical issues, course scheduling, content testing, general maintenance, etc.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the LMS/LXP integrates seamlessly with other systems and platforms, creating functional requirements
  • Ensure data security and privacy by managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels
  • Establish standards for the LMS/LXP and related services, including vendor partners and content development
  • Assists with data migrations, in partnership with internal and external partners
  • Customize the LMS/LXP to align with the organization's branding and visual identity
  • Content Management:_
  • Upload, organize, and manage learning content, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • User Support and Training:_
  • Provide user support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with technical problems
  • Develop and deliver training materials for users, including instructors and learners
  • Analytics and Reporting:_
  • Generate and analyze ondemand and regularly scheduled reports on user engagement, course completion rates, and other relevant metrics
  • Use data insights to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of success
  • Make datadriven recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of platform and learning programs
  • Problem Management and Continuous Improvement_
  • Lead problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
  • Identify process gaps, while maintaining system documentation, and implement best practices
  • Research and implement new features and plugins to improve functionality and user engagement
  • Collaborate with technical partners to enhance the LMS/LXP interface and user experience
  • Strong project management skills of crossfunctional teams to oversee the implementation of solutions and improvements
  • Quality Assurance:_
  • Conduct regular audits of content, courses, and assessments to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with established standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to content display, navigation, and functionality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as human resources, education, instructional design, information technology, or similar preferred
  • 7+ years of experience supporting learning platform software
  • Experience working with learning products and suites, i.e., Degreed, LearnAmp (or similar), or other talent systems and with elearning content development, deployment, and management
  • Knowledge of elearning standards (SCORM, xAPI, and content authoring tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to push toward clarity and results while balancing the need for great crossteam collaboration
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong written and oral communication must be able to work well and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical resources
  • Desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum sprintbased environment; understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology concepts, techniques, and ceremonies preferred
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate a strong desire to take on new tasks and learn new things
  • Ability to analyze, understand, and prioritize business problems
  • Work experience in management/technology consulting or professional services industries preferred
