    The role of Associate Financial Analyst involves providing support throughout all phases of the financial planning and analysis processes and strives to be a contributor to the Finance team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support senior team members in performing planning and analysis processes, projects, and ad-hoc requests as required by the Finance organization by embracing the following responsibilities:
    • Own, update, and improve budget/forecast models for the 360-investment program ("360 Program"), a key central initiative for MA, on behalf of Data Solutions and KYC Operating Units
    • Provide supporting analysis on investment needs (both compensation and non-compensation related), supervise actual spend against budget/forecast, and act as a liaison between the business and Finance teams to ensure accurate booking of invoices, as well as and accurate capitalization.
    • Support key 360 Program deliverables, including the preparation of supporting presentations, data collection and analysis, and coordination with important team members
    • Assist in, forecasting, month-end, and variance analysis reporting, as well as ad hoc projects based on business needs
    • Collaborate in the preparation of the monthly reports and variance analysis to identify key focus areas for management in a timely manner
    • Assist with the preparation of various business planning processes and results, including forecasts, budgets, 5-year strategic plans, etc.
    • Input forecast and budget projections into Moody's financial reporting systems with guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members
    • Partner with other teams in Finance and Business Planning to develop good working relationships within the organization
    • Assist in the development of new reporting solutions and identify key focus areas for management with guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or another quantitative field
    • Strong verbal & written English skills.
    • Highly proficient in Excel, with a focus on financial modelling
    • Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, preferably Office 365
    • Good analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
