We are currently on the lookout for a competent, self-motivated Cloud Developer Windows for our Cloud Services team with a deep understanding of Windows Systems, Microsoft Azure and AWS to collaborate, lead change, automate and inspire teams towards delivery excellence at Sysco LABS.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the infrastructure provisioning, deployment, architecture reviews and monitoring tools that will support, enhance and grow an advance infrastructure support model for Sysco's multi-cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge working as a Cloud Support Developer in Windows.
• Work with product engineering teams to design, develop, operate, and maintain secure, auto-scalable, highly available Windows based cloud environments with the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Act as SME for Windows based workloads, providing solutions to problems, handling migrations, and troubleshooting any issues in a timely manner.
• Patch management and coordinating patch schedules with other teams such as Security, Change management, Incident management and Dev teams.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Kubernetes for cloud operation work on Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Improve our knowledgebase and engineering standards through documentation.
• Ensure the security of all Sysco LABS' infrastructure, data, applications, and configurations.
• Automation and scripting via PowerShell, Python, Bash, Cloud Formation or Terraform.
• Systems Alert Monitoring and proactively managing systems and application issues.
• Work on a roster covering 24x7 support to our end users.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge to utilize scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Gitlab.
• Certifications on Microsoft Azure, Hands-on experience architecting and deploying Microsoft Azure environments, including hybrid scenarios, optimizing cost/capacity ratios, proper monitoring, scaling, implementing, and validating database & DR scenarios, and Azure security.
• Ability to learn and work in a multi-cloud environment with always learning attitude to support application in various cloud platforms.
• Certifications on Windows Systems and 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Windows administrator.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work successfully in an Agile, DevOps team environment.
• Excellent knowledge on networking and containerization.
• Knowledge on middle-tier applications including all web servers such as IIS, Nginx, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Mem-cache will be and added advantage.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities, able to convey risk to all levels of the business, from executives to operations and development teams.
• Certifications in the areas of AWS, GCP or Networking will be an added advantage.
