Sample Room Engineering Technician

As our Sample Room Engineering Technician you manage the CR Sample Room queue, assigning priorities and commit dates for the sample requests.

What you will be doing:

Supports prototypes creation using 3D Printing, assembling, machining, soldering and any other necessary manufacturing step.
Keeps the order and organization of the Pilot Lines and the Engineering Laboratory.
Work with ATL Engineers to support the NPI Process.
Supports equipment installation and qualification.
Support Sample Room by identifying and solving technical challenges found in processes and equipment.
Assist engineering in necessary document creation (SOP, Travelers, etc) and change through the Engineering Change Order process.
Aid engineering with design, review, and proofreading activities around new procedure development
Managing components during assembly work and supporting reorders as needed to maintain supplies.
Ensure quality inspections are performed and records are properly kept (DHR)
Escalate issues with the appropriate parties (engineering, quality, shipping... etc ) when necessary.
Assist with the development of specifications, procurement, build, documentation, validation and personnel training on new equipment.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we expect from you:

Technical degree on electromechanics, electronics, precision mechanics, or equivalent.
Experience with electrical assembly, machine shop, 3D Printing and connectors is a plus.
Experience as a "front line" leader, working directly with individual contributors in various roles.
At least two year of experience in engineering or production.
Experience with CAD software is a plus.
Travel requirements from 10% 20% of the time
