    We are looking for someone who would be part of Settlement Operations team as Supervisor, Settlement Operations responsible for over operational results and people management over one team for one specific business unit or function in Western Union.

    Role Responsibilities

  • This position has the complete responsibility over operational results and people management over one team for one specific business unit or function, along with meeting targets, reporting results, and metrics to management level.
  • Handle escalated agents related or function related issues as they arise, advise and coach team on any new policies and procedures as they relate to day-to-day processing.
  • May handle specialized tasks associated to business unit.
  • Represents the function in settlement operations related projects / initiatives and acts as a liaison between business operations, support departments such as Finance, Product, Technical teams, and developers.
  • Role Requirements

  • Participation in projects and improvement of the processes
  • Metrics and reporting for management visibility
  • Escalations handling
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in Accounting, Payment, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Settlement Operations, Finance, Banking sectors / areas.
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in people management is a must.
  • Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math's or similar education Bachelor or Higher Education.
  • Microsoft Office savvy, Automation tool knowledge is an advantage, sound communication and training skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to details, end to product / process knowledge, people management skills.
