- Perform transactionalactivities that enable the accounting and finance activities
- Update and maintaingeneral ledger accounting journals
- Support monthly and annualclose processes
- Reconcile accounts withthe general ledger to ensure that all entries are accurate and in compliancewith accounting standards and make changes where necessary when errors arefound
- Prepare analytic reportsand/ or accounting schedules
- Adhere to agreed servicelevels, company policies and procedures
- Identify repetitive issuesor risks and propose on improvement opportunities
- Advanced knowledge/ use of ERP,consolidation/reporting tools (Hyperion, SAP-SEM) and office productivity tools(MS Office etc.)
- Excellent leadership and managementskills
- Very good professional understanding ofFinance & Accounting processes and respective technical solutions
- Good verbal and written communicationskills in English
- Over 3 years of workexperience
- Industry or sharedservices experience is an added advantage
