Revenue Data Analyst, Global Shared Services. This exciting new role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry. The

Revenue Data Analyst, Global Shared Services should be responsible for collecting data from various finance systems, integrating data through multiple joins, and thus bringing insights out of the patterns. Additionally, collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as finance, marketing, and IT to ensure deadlines are met to meet the requirement of the financial close. This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver the next generation of clear aligners (Invisalign) to our customers. In this role, you will

  • Gather and analyze historical data to establish Clear Aligner estimate processes.
  • Follow the financial close calendar to provide monthly and quarterly analysis on deferred revenue and the impact of estimates.
  • Utilize Advanced MS Excel knowledge and Industry standard Reporting tool experience to be able to extract data sets, develop models, perform analysis, and build actionable reports to support revenue reporting disclosure.
  • Assist in preparing the presentation to Senior Management and crossfunctional Finance teams.
  • Assist in performing Unit Acceptance Testing of SAP system and Enterprise Reporting systems for updated deferral and recognition rates.
  • Participate in the revenue data validation for Enterprise Initiatives, such as new Product Launches, Pricing Changes, SAP and Reporting system upgrades and enhancements efforts.
  • Provide analytical support and monitor key drivers, highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of changes. Conduct deep dives when observing abnormalities.
  • Business partnering with Business Intelligence, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Data Engineers to help drive efficiencies and productivity.
  • Assist Internal Audit and External Auditors' inquiries to address SOX controls by utilizing SAP, and Business Intelligence/ Datalake.
  • Monitor data integrity and resolve data/system issues.
  • Drive process improvement leveraging standardization and automation to scale the business.
  • Identify and define requirements for automation of the key reports.
  • Implement and revise Standard Operating Procedures as needed.

In this role, you'll need

Typically:


  • Bachelor's degree in CS/Information Science or Accounting/Finance with MIS; or equivalent of minimum 35 years professional experience in Finance/Accounting with focus on Data Analytics role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills primarily focused on finance data processes and system integrations.
  • Experience in driving operational process improvement.
  • To be selfmotivated with the ability to multitask.
  • Solid business acumen, especially in the areas of finance processes and systems.
  • Direct and open communication by setting appropriate expectations and follow up on projects.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
