    Teradyne is looking for a senior support analyst to lead all aspects of data and analytics operations including production and platform support and BI operations of its analytical environment which includes data warehouse, analytics, and data automation solutions.

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production support function and associated processes to be the primary interface with users for production issues, establish tiered support model and manage escalations.
  • Work cross functionally with internal and external users, Product Owners, Data Engineering and BI teams with a focus to ensure users get operational support.
  • Establish processes and systems in collaboration with project teams to proactively monitor and alert all aspects of data platform and products to ensure overall data platforms health and performance are optimal.
  • Manage support help desk ticket que and establish communication processes to ensure users are updated appropriately of work status and system impacts.
  • Ensure visibility of all operational issues and metrics to management and leadership and proactively identify opportunities for operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with project teams to support ongoing development projects and participate in release planning, training, and hand-off of new releases
  • Work with project leads to understand capacity and capabilities requirements for new projects and recommend/perform platform updates when required
  • Ensure data operations and systems data integrations like batch jobs, extracts, integration feeds etc. are functioning at an optimal level
  • Document and manage platform lifecycles and perform upgrades and patches based on release cycles.
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure seamless support for the data platforms and products.
  • Basic Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience working in data or technical operations
  • Experience in performing root cause analysis on data issues to improve consistency and delivery
  • Experience working in a data operations environment and understanding the data product lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience of coordinating technical support teams and driving operational excellence with diverse teams.
  • Working in an agile environment with a cross functional and globally distributed team including offshore teams with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of the following database technologies: SQL Server and Oracle Database,
  • Working knowledge of some combination of following reporting platforms: SAP Business Objects, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau.
  • Experience with some combination of ETL and Batch tools like Informatica, BMC Control M, Azure Data Factory
  • Any knowledge and experience in Snowflake and Azure Data Platforms
  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Integration technologies: ADF (Azure Data Factory), Event Hub, Streaming Analytics, and SSIS will be nice to have

    Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent degree.
