Role summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SQA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications developed in Java and Angular. This role involves designing and executing both white-box and black-box tests, as well as performing regression and load testing to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform white-box and black-box testing on Java and Angular applications.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new changes.
• Execute load and performance testing to validate system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
• Contribute to the automation of test cases and continuous integration pipelines.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What we're looking for

Typically

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering with 3 years of experience or PhD with no experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Preferable understanding of Java and Angular application architecture.
• Experience with white-box, black-box, regression, and load testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, and Python.
