- Lead the execution of complex engineering projects, including equipment validations, process improvements, and product transfers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing methods, reduce scrap rates, and enhance labor efficiency.
- Develop and implement cost reduction programs while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards (FDA, OSHA, ISO).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Equipment Technicians, ensuring their performance meets established metrics.
- Conduct thorough investigations into equipment malfunctions and quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Microbiology Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within a labor- and machine-intensive environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth understanding of equipment qualification, process validation, and project management methodologies (PMP preferred).
- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Excel, SolidWorks, MiniTab, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred) and a solid understanding of Lean Principles.
