What you'll do:

Engage with clients to envision large scale systems/platforms, and translate that vision to system design
Define specifications, then plans, designs, and develops complex, business critical, software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes; either individually or in concert with the project team.
Oversee and ensure quality results in project and design reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards.

What experience you need:

BS degree in information technology
5+ years of experience as a
Data Engineer
3+ years
leading Technology teams
4+ years of experience in
GCP/AWS
5+ years of experience in
Data Architecture and Data Ingestion
English Proficiency (minimum B2+ level)

What could set you apart:

Hands on data engineer role supporting EDH Ingestion projects
The position supports GFS, C2O, EWS, EBS ,Genesys, EDH Trace Integrations/Implementations
Development, enhancement, and support of data ingestion jobs from various source systems following existing design patterns.
Modify data extraction pipelines into a standardized approach.
Identify internal process improvements and work with Senior Engineers under mínimal supervision to achieve automation of manual processes, optimize data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Development, enhancement, and support of data ingestion jobs from various source systems following existing design patterns using Spark or Apache Beam
Process improvements, Identify and help to resolve performance issues with appropriate technical solutions.
Automation of manual processes, optimize data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Build data integrations job using Spark or Apache Beam
