- Bachelor's degree in STEM field with 10+ years of overall work experience or 8+ years of overall work experience with Advanced degree.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in NextGen Firewalls (Prefer Cisco FTD or Palo Alto).
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Securities technologies (Security Groups, NACLs etc.).
- Highly proficient and hands-on experience in following communication protocols TCP/IP, MBGP/BGP, OSPF and VXLAN.
- Advance level understanding of Cisco Nexus series (9K ACI and 7K) datacenter networking, Meraki SDWAN & Campus networking.
- Standardize firewall policies and automate firewall policy compliance and risk management.
- Supports the creation of organization wide standards for security and network infrastructure products.
- Participate in analysis of new technology and product sets like zero-trust network and always-on VPN. Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design and implement solutions like zero-trust network and always-on VPN across the lifecycle.
- Enforce firewall policy standards and ensure security design is in line with regulatory requirements like PCI, HIPPA, GDPR, etc.
- Experience with Automation and DevOps.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise level IP networks.
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-quality datacenter infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with Cisco routers & switches (Nexus NXOS, ACI, Meraki), Cisco SDWAN (Viptela/Meraki), Arista switches, F5 Load Balancers (GTM/LTM) preferred.
- Advance level skills with firewall orchestration suites (TUFIN preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including experience with network tools (Viavi, Wireshark, Statseeker, NetFlow, ThousandEyes etc.).
- Enable tooling and process for L1/L2 operations to identify and resolve most of the datacenter incidents.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to apply technical skills and experience to research, recognize, isolate, and resolve network related issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
