How you will make an impact


This position will lead PPI and partner with site functional leaders to drive continuous improvements to enable profitable growth, improve quality, elevate the customer experience and increase employee engagement.

The position partners with functional leaders to build lean capability and streamline processes.

The role involves facilitating the lean fundamentals, such as Strategy deployment, visual management/5S, value stream mapping, leader standard work, metric boards, stand-up meetings and project funnel development/execution.

It also involves developing capability in these areas by training teams and providing coaching to all levels.


What you will do
Promote a learning organization that encourages continuous improvement to drive strategy and achieve its business and financial objectives

Partner with leaders in many functional areas across the site to facilitate strategy deployment and establish and refine metrics in the areas of customer, finance, people and quality to measure success of initiatives

Challenge organizational leaders as vital to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and proliferate PPI and Lean thinking

We lead/cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth and become more efficient. We enable all employees to develop skills promoting lean six sigma culture

Partner with Finance personnel to evaluate project savings estimates, validate reported PPI benefits, and ensure accurate accounting of productivity

Implement and mature the Lean Management System (tiered daily management, Gemba walks, and leader standard work) and other coaching tools to transform the culture


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations or related field or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advancing roles from fields such as operations, finance, commercial, R&D/engineering, quality, or product management with indirect or direct leadership
  • A Strong Lean Practitioner mentality with proven ability and a 'handson' track record of leading crossfunctional teams to achieve results
  • Experience in Strategy Deployment, Value stream mapping, visual management, Kanban, standard work, daily metric boards, Gemba, facilitating Kaizen projects, and project funnel development

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization
  • Motivate employees to adopt continuous improvement in both nonoperational and operational areas, including crossfunctional resources to remove waste along extended value streams. Passionate about driving improvement and leading change
  • Consistent track record for developing, training, and coaching teams. Great communicator, including solid written, oral and presentationgiving skills
