    Job Title: Customer Support Representative

    The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Customer Support Representative, you will handle a variety of corporate support inbound inquiries supporting all 3M Divisions. These inbound inquiries will be coming from both external customers and internal business partners. This role will require you to accurately capture required customer information and issues as well as document customer inquiry details using appropriate computer applications in an expedient and timely manner.

    Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Handles a wide range of inquiries and/or complaints that are received via phone, email and chats.
    • Responds to a variety of inbound inquiries and complaints from both internal business partners and external customers, taking action as appropriate:
    • Identifying the need
    • Assessing the situation
    • Providing inquiry resolution and escalation per established processes
    • Triages inquiries to other internal areas for resolution
    • Documents customer interactions accurately and completely
    • Is able to manage entry level questions on
    • Product information and technical specs
    • Customer service related inquiries
    • Triage calls to appropriate areas with 3M for further assistance
    • Shares 3M new products and services with customers to meet their requirements

    Your Skills and Expertise

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

    • High School Diploma and a minimum of two (2) years of combined experience engaging, servicing or selling to customers, clients, in a tech support, customer service role
    • B2 English or higher

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
    • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM
    • Possesses exceptional customer service competencies
    • Enjoys helping and interaction with other people in a friendly, courteous manner and gives continuous attention to customer satisfaction
    • Ability to work in high-volume, rapidly changing environment
    • Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgement of discretion
    • Previous 3M experience/knowledge with in our systems, processes and businesses
    • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues quickly before they become problems.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadership.
    • Strong Active Listening skills.
    • Ability to follow through with commitments and show concern for the needs of others.
    • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
    • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, 3M Customer Service systems is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to stay focused on prioritized tasks.
