Job Id: 6530- City: Cartago, Cartago, Costa Rica- Department: SCM- Function: SCM- Employee Type: Permanent Full Time- Seniority Level: ExecutiveDescription:The occupant of this position will have the responsibility of promoting, ensuring and supervising compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental standards and rules and guiding the actions carried out by the organization Through the dissemination of preventive and corrective measures based on the instructions and internal procedures, legal and corporate requirements in order to protect people and assets while minimizing impacts on the environment.
Supervise and guarantee the segregation / administration and control of waste (hazardous / non-hazardous). Ensuring the correct disposal of waste according to current regulations and standards. Carry out ergonomic evaluations, determining compliance with standards and generating information to provide feedback on SHE plans and programs.Identify potential risks in UPL facilities To mitigate possible accidents in UPL Identify environmental aspects and impacts to mitigate potential environmental incidents.
Authorize and supervise activities and Permits for hazardous work consolidate processes carried out with controlled risks. Control and manage Suppliers in the SHE areas.Maintain and supervise a Safety, Health and Environment management system, aligning the organization's efforts with the global corporate direction to have a defined direction.
Manage the Safety and Hygiene commission to ensure working conditions within the UPL facilities.Train / Train all the staff of the organization in prevention issues, through an annualized program to ensure the culture of SHE in UPL.
Coordinate Emergency brigades on site with the aim of minimizing impacts due to contingencies. Manage personal protective equipment ensuring its availability and correct use. Manage emergencies on site guaranteeing efficient attention in time, according to the requirements of the company.Manage and control surveillance personnel and their accesses at the Ramos Plant, ensuring the integration of personnel and materials that enter and/or leave the facilities.
Participate and follow up on accident investigation and determination of action plans to ensure the implementation of actions and risk reduction.
Carry out daily floor tours to ensure compliance with the cleaning standards in the plants.We are one team, for maximum impact. One team with shared goals.
