Will also interact with a community of other developers and Technical Leads at the Measurement Solutions, and Emerson levels to ensure this role is aligned with our single global standards of tool selection, design, development, implementation, and support.

Along with the Subject Matter Expert, will generate the required documentation to record the process in conjunction with the business champions and Technical Leads and will collaborate to collect and document lessons learned for the execution of knowledge transfer.

Will train the Subject Matter Expert in tools developed if needed. Will support and generate documentation of the developed tools according to the guidelines.

Test the Business Continuity Plan generated by the Subject Matter Expert to validate the continuity of the actions to be taken.


PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering requirements from the users and the stakeholders.
  • Working in an Agile framework and following sprint cycles to complete Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
  • Analysis and development of software and new functionalities.
  • Management and solution of technical incidents.
  • Execution of test plans and quality control code.
  • Development in web environments with technologies such as Visual Basic.
NET.

  • Utilize Power BI to gather data from different sources and clean it to make it fit for reporting.
  • Creating Reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize the data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

  • BA/BS university degree desired.
  • At least 4 years of development experience is required.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Visual Basic.
NET is required.

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Power BI is required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in IT or related areas preferred, which may include:
  • Experience in Visual Studio.
NET technologies like C#.NET,.Net 4.5 or greater,.NET Core, ADO.NET, XML, Web Services, Azure, SQL Server technologies a plus.

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Power Automate Cloud is a plus.
  • Power Platform Certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient at dealing with all levels of the organization in a constructive, productive fashion.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communications abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, project tracking and conceptual skills.
  • Attention to detail and able to manage data accurately.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
