    Position Summary

    Dedicated and results-driven Fixed Assets Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in financial analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning. Proven ability to optimize fixed asset management processes, enhance financial reporting, and drive organizational efficiency. Provide valuable insights, streamlining operations results, and contribute to the overall success of a dynamic organization.

    General Job Responsibilities

  • Complete and guide daily tasks which includes:Support the juniors and experts in low and medium complexity account reconciliations.Perform high complexity account able to perform Quality review on low and medium complexity account up support for FA DMS services.Accountable and responsible for Standard Activities and Month-end Steps included in Management by Escalating issues timelySupport weekly checks, such as Settlements.
  • Provide customer support through general FA supports, Issue logs, training of new hires, new processes, reporting, creating documentation, etc.
  • Performs all assigned quality checks functions accurately and timely to ensure no issues in the processes executed.
  • Provide support to global projects through job shadowing, transaction testing and documenting.
  • Lead, analyze and report Quality checks.
  • Risk management (interacting with internal customers or team members where necessary to resolve issues reported)
  • Research about solutions, generate and Lead the organization by using the Continuous Improvement Philosophy (CIP).
  • Support the achievement of monthly KPIs for FA Area.
  • Led the analysis and management of fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording, depreciation, and reconciliation in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements resulting in a reduction in fixed asset discrepancies or reporting errors.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Developed and maintained comprehensive documentation of fixed asset policies and procedures, facilitating training for team members or stakeholders/customers, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Conducted financial analyses, variance analysis, and trend assessments to provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborated with IT teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement system or process updates to improve fixed asset tracking and reporting.
  • Play a key role in the Fixed Assets implementation of SAP S/4HANA by streamlining financial processes and improving overall reporting accuracy.
  • Implement and improve best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality.
  • Participate (and potentially lead) status and planning meetings, both internally and with clients.
  • Attend, contribute (and potentially lead) trainings (both internal and/or external) to new hires and also juniors/experts and other seniors on current issues.
  • Back-support on Supervisor tasks if necessary, such as: RPO calls, Global calls, Tactical meetings, among others.
  • Responsible for documenting processes within own area. Also for updates or changes needed.
  • Perform other functions related to the position.
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting or a related field (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering).
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Excel).
  • Advance knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.) and Shared Point platforms.
  • Minimum of 4/ 5 years in accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Fixed Assets accounting tasks (reconciliations, reporting, month end close jobs and activities).
  • Experience in IFRS and GAAP accounting and principles.
  • Experience documenting processes using Visio flowcharts or process maps, etc, desired.
  • Migration experience is a plus.
  • SAP implementation is a plus.
  • Experience in a Shared service center preferred.
