- Identify and resolve a variety of system failures; continually training to become prepared for all possible issues.
- Utilize knowledge of Datasite's systems, services, and tools to become a troubleshooting expert within the Engineering organization.
- Maintain and manage the production monitoring systems that cover our platform from end to end.
- Use existing tooling to monitor capacity and scale systems ahead of need, using-fact based metrics combined with integral knowledge of our platform.
- Participate in the Platform Services on-call rotation to assist with production issues.
- Participate in after-incident reviews and drive the identified outcomes into our applications and systems to improve our client experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2 to 5 years of development experience; demonstrated proficiency in one of the following: Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin (or other mainstream programming language). Python preferred.
- 2+ years hands-on/administrative experience with 1 or more of the following observability tools: Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, and/or Instana/AppDynamics/Dynatrace.

Job Description:
The Jr Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) assists in maturing our organization's operational observability practices, addresses underlying performance and stability issues, and tracks down root-cause for enterprise incidents in our customer-facing enterprise platform. You will work as a part of a talented team of engineers focused on delivering mission critical expertise and support to ensure the highest levels of availability and performance.
This is a hybrid role; minimum 1 day per week in our Heredia office with potential for more.
