Job Description:

The Jr Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) assists in maturing our organization's operational observability practices, addresses underlying performance and stability issues, and tracks down root-cause for enterprise incidents in our customer-facing enterprise platform. You will work as a part of a talented team of engineers focused on delivering mission critical expertise and support to ensure the highest levels of availability and performance.

This is a hybrid role; minimum 1 day per week in our Heredia office with potential for more.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve a variety of system failures; continually training to become prepared for all possible issues.
• Utilize knowledge of Datasite's systems, services, and tools to become a troubleshooting expert within the Engineering organization.
• Maintain and manage the production monitoring systems that cover our platform from end to end.
• Use existing tooling to monitor capacity and scale systems ahead of need, using-fact based metrics combined with integral knowledge of our platform.
• Participate in the Platform Services on-call rotation to assist with production issues.
• Participate in after-incident reviews and drive the identified outcomes into our applications and systems to improve our client experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 2 to 5 years of development experience; demonstrated proficiency in one of the following: Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin (or other mainstream programming language). Python preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on/administrative experience with 1 or more of the following observability tools: Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, and/or Instana/AppDynamics/Dynatrace.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
