    Splunk is seeking a highly motivated, inherently curious, results oriented individual to join our dynamic Solution Engineering team. You will be the primary technical advisor for your customers, and their technical advocate within Splunk.

    What you'll get to do

    • Partner with Account Managers and Solution Engineers in this customer-facing role to deliver key activities that support the evaluation of the suitability of Splunk's products and solutions to customers remotely, with a focus on value-based differentiators
    • Research and respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
    • Deliver a variety of customer-facing workshops to enable our customers to learn about Splunk technology
    • Lead discovery calls to identify customer requirements
    • Work with customers across North and South America and internal Splunk teams after the sale to assist them with adopting Splunk's products and solutions
    • With training and mentoring, learn the skills to identify customer requirements, deliver demonstrations of Splunk's capabilities, and use our business value platform to correctly size licenses and establish the value of our solution
    • Work closely with the GSS team to develop and continually improve working practices, best practices, GSS processes and procedures
    • IMPORTANT We can teach you the technology, coach you on soft skills and educate you on processes. You should have a strong sense of self-motivation, an insatiable curiosity about what "is possible" with technology, the desire to work with an awesome team and a positive, fun-loving attitude

    Must-have Qualifications

    • This role will require you to report into our office in Heredia approximately 2-3 times per week
    • You should ideally have either some experience in selling and supporting software products to IT organizations or have experience using or supporting technology in a business setting
    • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business
    • A confident and comfortable presenter interested in developing these skills further
    • Ability to be organized and analytical, and will be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
    • Comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization with a fast growing customer base
    • Familiarity with programming or scripting is a plus
    • Desire to learn, grow and be a part of our expanding and dynamic team
    • Spanish or Portuguese speaker (professional level)

    OTE Range

    For sales roles starting salaries are expressed as On Target Earnings or OTE (OTE = base + on-target incentives in the form of sales commission plans).

    On Target Earnings: CRC 24,000, ,000,000.00 per year

    Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
