Hiring Position:
Construction Project Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and oversee all onsite activities and personnel, including the team, designers, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Providing updates daily in the morning and at the end of the day
  • Manage project timelines and budget to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule
  • Communicate regularly with the team and address any concerns or unforeseen situations ahead of time
  • Managing project risks and identifying potential issues before they impact the project timeline or budget
  • Inspect and ensure that all construction work meets local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate project records, including progress reports, daily logs, and financial records for the team to collaborate with and making adjustments as necessary
  • Managing project contracts, including negotiating and executing contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Hiring, supervising, and managing construction workers and contractors
  • Coordinating the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment, including negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery
  • Reviewing and approving project designs and blueprints, and making any necessary changes to ensure that they meet project requirements

Requirements:


  • Fully fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Experience and background in highend hotel or hospitality commercial project management
  • Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
  • Bonus if has strong knowledge of commercial kitchen design and construction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to manage and motivate project teams to achieve project goals
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office


This is a
contract and project based position, we are looking to build a long term relationship for any upcoming works and projects relating to this profession.

The role has flexibility in terms of how we collaborate together. Whether it may be by hour, day, part-time, or full-time for a specific period of time or project.

Salary:
₡960, ₡1,600,000.00 per month
