    A Day in the Life

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.
  • Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Uses hand and power tools.
  • Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
  • Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
  • May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
    • Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Completed secondary school or minimum Ninth grade of secondary school.
  • Electromechanical Technician - Electrical Technician or Mechanical Technician (INA or CTP graduate desirable) or related.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • This is an on-site weekly shift day position with working hours between (flexible hours/time and overtime when required) - It can be from Monday to Friday or from Monday to Saturday.

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to use multi meter to troubleshoot incoming power and low voltage controls.
  • HVAC experience.
  • EPA universal certification.
  • Ability to sweat, braze and pro-press pipe.
  • Familiar with chiller plant and water treatment (RO/DI systems).
  • Preferred communication English intermediate-avanced.
  • Experience in - air conditioning - water cooling - positive displacement - diaphragm pumps - water cooling system.
  • Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Knowledge in EHS field.
  • Knowledge about project management.
  • Works under moderate degree of supervision.
