5+ years of sales or account management experience

The focus of this position is to be a leader of a team of Account Manager supporting Selling Partners in Japan, Australia, Middle East and LATAM.

This is a high-visibility role in Seattle and WW, where this person will be the single-threaded leader for our Costa Rica sales team of at least 3 Managers and 20 Account Managers, reporting to our SJO Global Sales Leader.

This Sales Manager will work across US categories and drive Seller business growth.

This person will also work cross-functionally with the Category Teams and Product teams across Amazon's Third Party (3P) business, ensuring that critical feedback continues to influence product road-maps.


Responsibilities:


  • Build a world class team of strategic Account Managers focused on delivering highimpact results
  • Stakeholder management with our larger Seattlebased sales organization and local leaders.
  • Coordinate with USGS Leadership on sales strategy and goals for each of the distinctive regions we support.
  • Serve as primary interface with internal teams including Product Managers, Category Management, and Program Management to align programs and initiatives that drive growth for Sellers WW
  • Establish partnerships with internal teams to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Model and forecast business metrics to make strategic decisions that grow key Seller accounts
  • Develop weekly mechanisms to track critical inputs/outputs and report out to senior management in weekly business reviews and regular flash reports
  • Analyze trends, diagnose root cause of performance, and create actionable plans for operational improvements
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting Seller performance and provide Voice of the Seller input for product development and process improvement
San Jose, CRI

  • 4+ years of people management experience leading a team of 20 people in several industries such as Sales, Operations, Renewals, Shared Services, etc.
  • Experience creating and executing new strategies in partnership with external teams
  • Experience working in a fastpaced and crossfunctional sales organization
  • Ability to effectively prioritize in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical skills using Excel
environment

  • Experience with international trade and/or logistics
  • Speak, write and read fluently in Japanese
